The rest of the group arrived from the overnight stay in
Istanbul, Turkey. There are
several gates you can enter to Kilimanjaro National Park. We headed to one gate that leads up the
mountains. We saw porters getting
ready to climb, a waterfall, and enjoyed the trip up to about 6,400 feet. It was neat to see the different
landscapes as we got higher and higher in the mountains. There was a lot of Banana trees and
green plants.
